Nepal has some of the best trekking in the world, to and around several of the world's highest mountains, including Mount Everest. Nepal's trekking route passes through the lush green forests of rhododendron, bamboo, oak, different landscapes, ice falls, glaciers, high altitude, frozen lakes and breathtaking snow caped mountains. To add to this, you get to experience the diverse culture and lifestyle of Nepalese people varying through different regions. Thus, trekking in Nepal is not making it to the mountains; it's about experiencing nature, variety of culture, festivals and most importantly exploring the uncharted places.

    Nepal is famous destination for trekking. Trekking in Nepal can be undertaken throughout the year. There are four season in Nepal. Each season has its difference attraction to offer. Nepal Trekking Seasons are classified as follows:-
    Autumn (Sept-Nov): This is the time when you can expect better visibility, the air is fresh, and the weather is perfect this season offers excellent climate and tantalizing mountain views and the weather is perfect. The Nepalese most important festivals (Dashain and Tihar) are marked during this season.
    Winter (Dec-Feb): This season is noted for occasional snowfall only at higher elevations. So, it’s ideal for trekking at lower altitude, generally below 3200m and offers tantalizing mountain views.
    Spring (March-May): Trekking in spring is particularly lovely as the mountain slopes are covered with beautiful and colorful flowers and still have plenty of high snow to enhance your photos.The temperature is quite moderate in this season. Varieties of wild flowers, especially the rhododendrons are in complete blossom. It is mildly warm at lower elevations and at higher elevation, over 4000m, the Mountain View are excellent while the temperature is quite moderate.
    Summer (June-Aug): This is the favorite season to trek in the rain shadow areas like Upper Mustang, Dolpo and Kailash. This season is also recommended for forest researchers and botanist. . It is recommended to carry Raincoats and insect repellents when trekking during these summer months.
