Daylight Saving Time changed in Turkey

Due to the election on 1st November the Ministry of Energy has announced that the fallback of one hour that will happen in most countries on October 24th will be delayed in Turkey till November 8th, the ministry (who have campaigned to have the time changes scrapped in Turkey altogether) stated it was for security reasons and to provide more daylight for voters to reach the polling stations.

So they cannot cope with a week to get ready for voting......

  • you have to laugh . Don't Turks eat carrots ?? They see well in the dark when they come home late at night from their work !
