    Hi JND,

Many businesses and markets will be closed, as will government offices, but the temples are particularly busy at Cambodian New Year; so your biggest problem might be contending with the large crowds at the temple complex. The most important thing is to be tactful and sensitive with regards to their customs in the temple, as there will be many traditional rituals going on, in order celebrate the Cambodian New Year.

The temples opening times are from 5:30am to 5:30pm, with some temples closing at around 3pm, and it is best to get there as early as possible. You may even want to set two days aside to really explore the complex fully.

You are in for a treat though, as this is their biggest holiday and the weather is great; April is the hottest month, so be prepared for some serious heat.
