100% scam. There is no such thing as a BTA (Basic Travel Allowance.) It's a 100% fabricated term to scam money from ignorant/naive foreigners.

Wake up. This person is a thief. Period. Only a fool would have any more contact with her.

    Cheers,
    Terry

Terry is absolutely correct. There is no such thing as a “Basic Travel Allowance” or BTA.

This is a dating scam used by the scammers as so ypu will send them money should send them money. This scam is otherwise known as the Personal Travel Allowance, Travellers Allowance Fee, Travellers Assistance Fund or Travellers Assurance Fund.

Basically anything involving an individual who is stuck at the airport or is unable to fly unless they pay an upfront fee.

Don't believe us Google is your friend type in BTA and see for yourself, it is even mentioned on the USA
government website as being a scam http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/scams.html
    n internet cafe

So you see this person is asking for money, she is probably a young man sitting with other scammers stealing from loved up idiots like you.
