Is Los Angeles child friendly?

edited February 2016 in - - California
Hi there.

My family and I are planning a trip to the states and obviously want to make a stop in world famous Los Angeles. We have two children, one aged 12 and the other aged 7. We are concerned that LA may not have attractions that are child-friendly. Is it a destination that caters to children as well as adults, and it it safe? We do not want to expose our children to anything untoward. Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks

I find the comment "... We do not want to expose our children to anything untoward..."
very odd. You make it sound like Sodom and Gomorrah. Its not, I have been there more than once and Los Angeles is a city and like all cities there are good and bad bits .

There are plenty of child friendly things to do in and around Los Angeles

Take your children to Graumans Chinese Theatre and see the famous hand prints, as a child I attended the premiere of Star Wars in 1977 in 2015 the latest Star Wars movie also premiered there.

  • Thank you.

I appreciate your responses. What I was attempting to communicate is that with young children we want to ensure a safe trip; perhaps areas to avoid in Los Angeles, etc? Thank you for the link, definitely worth checking out.
