Help - Canadian male and Algerian woman looking to get married in Tunisia.

Hello all, I have read lots of helpful advice from Lesley and Alethia regarding the requirements to get married in Tunisia, but what are the extra requirements if both parties are foreigners? Also, does a birth "certificate extract" suffice (it's called the short-form in Canada, it does not include information of my parents on it), or do I need an original birth certificate issued (long-form)?

I am a Muslim male Canadian, so I know that I need a document to prove that I am Muslim (what nonsense). Well, we decided to try to get married in Tunisia because the requirements in Algeria were much more difficult (in Algeria, I would have to stay there 21 days and do interviews with the police, then more interviews among other things). Could somebody kindly chime in?
