Antalya is a lovely holiday resort I have been there several times.
Antalya has some wonderful hotels of a very high standard. As you are only there for three days , you can a taxi or the local dolmus ( bus) which is very reasonable and will take you to the the centre and old town. Some hotels have courtesy buses. Or book a tour through the hotel, these are often good value.

You can arrange for the hotel to collect you from the airport.or take a taxi. Antalya is highly organised for tourists.

I don't suggest you drive yourself as Anatalya is a big city and it would be easy to get lost and parking like most big cities is expensive and in short supply.

Terra City is the best shopping mall with all the top shops and cafes.

You do not want a hotel by the airport as its too far from the the best locations. You should stay either near Lara or Konyaalti both have beaches.

Places to visit, Kaleici (old town), old harbour, Terra City Mall, Antalya Aquarium ( is in Konyaalti)
I cannot recommend a hotel as I lived near Antalya, Clare our member who lives in Konyaalti may be along to advise you.

Eid is a very busy time so I suggest you hurry with your booking. By the way in Turkey
Eid Al-Adh'ha is known as Kurban Bayrami and instead of saying Eid Mubarak/Mabrook
Turks say Mutlu Bayramlar which is the simplest congratulation.

    Have a super holiday.
  • @Alethia thank you so much
  • Alethia has given you some excellent advice. For a hotel in a very convenient location for exploring the area and close to the centre, museum, 5M Migros shopping mall, the aquarium and on bus routes have a look at the Rixos Downtown in Konyaalti.

The Hotel Su is in the same area but a little closer to Konyaalti Beach

The Barut Akra is also in a very good location to give you a good base for exploring. It is on the other side of the city centre to the other two but on bus routes and in a beautiful location.

Hopefully these will give you a starting point.
