UK residence permit holder going to Scotland or Wales.


Does someone with indefinite leave to remain in the uk and uk residence permit need visa to visit Scotland or Wales.


  • @ibl0010 Scotland and Wales are both part of the UK, so no, somebody with a UK residence permit certainly won't need a visa to visit.

    Ella is correct, you do not need a visa to travel to Wales,Scotland or even North Ireland as they are part of the United Kingdom.
    I find your question very strange in light of the fact that you had to pass the Life in the UK test to be granted Indefinite Leave to Remain and the countries of the United Kingdom are part of the test.
