Hi There, please refer to for "a touch of local experience"
The site is being updated and an online e-bookguide is coming soon.

For horse riding you have a couple of options in the North Horse Riding Delights in Mont Choisy.
In Le Morne behind the Indian Resort Hotel you have also a small ranch which offers you horse riding in Le Morne.
If you wish to go to Floreal you can meet at Club Hippique its a members club and maybe a good idea to ask locals. Most have horses which they take to the beach.

    Enjoy your trip

Ok, in Reunion you have to!! have to visit the Mountainous areas, the volcanoes, Reunion is a good place for travelling to the bush. Mauritius seems to be the opposite, we have beaches all around the country. If you're into the forest and bushwalking go to Black River National Park. Climb up Signal Mountain in Port Louis (or jog up) for a panorama view of the city.

If you are planning to visit Mauritius then make use of the Yu lounge if you want a hassle free arrival. It is very impressive and im guessing it is the only airport lounge in the world, where you dont have to stand in line for your immigration on arrival and on departure. check out the Yu lounge at the GAM terminal.

Try out the mouth-watering Mauritian Street Food or just exploring the beaches of Belle Mare or Le Morne, there are many activities to try out in Mauritius. I got to try out many things to do in Mauritius with Thomas Cook India. Do plan your visit here and try out surfing and other major activities.
