Going to Nigeria for work

edited March 2010 in - West Africa
Hi all.
I red quite a bit about people going to Nigeria (Lagos) and work there or just to visit and so on but I couldn't fine much about health.

As far as I know I should have vaccinations against malaria and yellow fever...is that it? What about mosquito? WHat should I wear do or not to do to avoid them?

Thanks

Fred

I worked in Nigeria for 2 months and only had a shot for Yellow Fever and kept pills for Malaria - which you end up taking on a daily basis. To avoid mozzi bites try and stay cool, don't sweat too much. Also make sure to buy bottle drinks and water. Apart from this you'll enjoy the buzz and locals in Nigeria.

THINK AN INTERNET SCAMMER IS PLAYING ME WITH A "LAGOS, NIGERIA WORK PROJECT." HE SEEMED SO GOOD AND DOWN TO EARTH THAT I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT AND I STILL AM HAVING A HARD TIME BELIEVING IT. IT REALLY HURTS, ESPECIALLY SINCE I'VE BEEN PRAYING SO HARD FOR YEARS TO FIND A GOOD HUSBAND.
