    Hello Elmarie,

It is hard to read the future, even for a Travel Guru. Hence we cannot know what the snowfall will be like 5 months from now. And 1 December is very early in the season.

Livigno is one of the highest ski resorts in Europe with the village at 1864m and last winter was one of the only resorts to have snow all winter from first snowfall on the 8th Dec through to the last lifts shutting on the 1st May.

Remember also that good skiiing conditions require several weeks of snow to build a suitable base. It is therefore unlikely - but not impossible - that enough snow will fall by 1 December to create excellent conditions.
