I will shortly be leaving on a cruise starting at Southampton UK & finishing in Barbados. I have been given conflicting information regarding a Visa for Barbados. My travel agent states this will be done on board ship, but in the paperwork we have been given it states we require a Single Entry Visa. My question is do we need to sort this out before we leave the UK or will it be done on board as my travel agent stated. If we do need to aquire a Visa where do I apply?

British nationals do not need a visa to enter Barbados. The visa may apply if the cruise ship makes a stop at a port in a country which requires a visa. So if the cruise stops in San Juan for instance you will need a US visa before you can board in Southampton.
