Florence or Rome?

edited February 2009 in - Italy
My wife and I are from Alaska in the USA. We are traveling in Italy for the first time, during the end of March. We are both visual artists and may have to choose between Rome and Florence, we have three days. We were originally going just to Rome but friends have encouraged us to not miss Florence, and three days is not enough time to do both. Any suggestions? Oh, we are traveling by train coming from Pisa.

right: 3 days are not enough for both, and in your shoes I would spend all the 3 days in Florence.
(probably I would spend just an half day in Pisa)

on the nex trip, you can see Rome.
  • give more time to florence then the rome.

    have a nice day
