What's the weather like in Amman in November?

edited October 2010 in - Other M East
I am planning a 4 day trip to Amman/Petra around the 18th Nov and wondering if hot enough to enjoy the hotel pool.

I will be travelling to Amman on Nov 14, 2 days in Dead Sea, 1 day in Petra, 1 day in Wadi Rum and and stay in Aqaba btw 19-21.. I have the same concern as above!

It is almost impossible to predict the weather these days. November starts to become cold and I've been in Amman many times, some are warm sunny days and others cold, wet and windy. Petra of course is in the dessert and the nights are very cold, however, the days can be warm and sunny which is perfect for exploring and climbing. Hotel pool?? I have never ventured near it in November. You may be able to take a dip in the Dead Sea but as I said, it's hit and miss with the weather - it is becoming winter and can be cold.
