Cholera in jamaica

We are scedualed to arrive in Jamaica for a 2 week jacation on the 23rd of Dec. We were just told that we will need a International certificate of vacination for cholera. Is this true

    Hi Celoehr,
    According to official websites such as the British FCO site you do not need a cholera vaccination. However perhaps you should phone your nearest travel clinic and see what their advice is as they may know more about the situation on the ground. Alternatively, from what I can remember the Cholera vaccination is taken orally and is quite easy to get from a travel health clinic, it might be worth your while getting it.
