Odessa is a nice city in the south of Ukraine. It was founded in 1794 by Catherine II, the city rapidly grew and developed.
Odessa is a sea port located on the northwestern shore of the Black Sea. The city has great and very interesting history, nice architecture and sandy beaches.
I live in Odessa and will be glad to answer any of your questions about Odessa and Ukraine.

    Hi David! There are many beaches in Odessa. Everyone can find a beach he likes - sandy, pebbly, beaches with bars and restaurantsor or wild beaches near Odessa.

    In the city there are public beaches. Not far from Odessa there are some villages near the sea-shore - Zatoka, Karolino-Bugaz. In these villages you can find numerous recreation centers and resorts with beaches.
    Since June water temperature is usually 18-22C, July-August water temperature usually is 24-26 C
