Where to stay in the Cotswolds?

edited August 2012 in - Britain and Ireland
Hello - we have a two or three spare days in our itinerary and would like to visit Oxford and the Cotswolds. What are the best places to visit and where should be stay in the Cotswolds or Oxford. Has anyone got any hotel recommendations or have suggest of good English pubs to stay in?

There are lots of nice little villages and towns to stop by and enjoy. Try Bibury of Burford, both quite touristy, but for a reason. Chipping Campden is lovely. Stow-in-the-Wold is a good place for antique shopping, as it Tetbury (on the edge of the Cotswolds). There is too much to say about Oxford - visit the Oxford Travel Guide for more info. . As for pubs, try staying at the Kings Arms in Bledington. Low-key, traditional, not too expensive and good food.
