Accommodation in Ukraine - I need advice!

edited January 2010 in - Eastern Europe
I'm travelling to Odessa in March. Can anyone advise me about finding reasonably priced accommodation while I'm there, and also what I should see and do over the 4 days I'm there.

Also, I'd like to visit the Carpathian mountains. Firstly, should I look for accommodation in Uzhok and secondly, how do I get there from Odessa? Is it possible to book accommodation and tickets, etc in advance by phone or email?
Please, anyone who has been to Ukraine or lives there that has some advice for I'd relaly appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks is advance - JA

Hi, there are a lot of web-sites proposing accomodaation in private flats.
You can choose any of them from the internet. They all speak English.

There is a great network of railways in Ukraine, so, you will be able to get to the places you need by railways.

    Book your ticket in advance!
