Honeymoon in Switzerland (Nov)

Hi there,

I have planned to visit Switzerland & France in 1/Nov to 15/Nov for my honeymoon, and i'm afraid of the cold weather that might affect my trips.
my plan does cover:  Paris , Annecy , Geneva ,Divonne,  evian , mont-blanc mountain , lausanne & montreux.

please note that we don't mind traveling during the cold weather , it would very useful if some  expert advices can be shared.

Is there any specific activities/places i have to avoid ?

Is it better to stay in hotels that are located in cities or mountains?

Thanks all

  • Hi Salem,
I have been in France in December and although it was cold it was glorious. You'll obviously be avoiding the tourist crowds which is lovely, especially in Paris. Just take some warm clothes! As far as the hotels go, whether it is better to stay in the city or the country depends entirely on your taste... Check out these two travel guides to Switzerland and France for some ideas.
