Is there any Hill stations in Lakshadweep?


  • Lakshadweep Islands are also known as the Laccadive Islands.  It is a group of islands in the Laccadive Sea. This island is about 220 to 440 km off the coast of the South West Indian state of Kerala. These islands and Cochin are linked by ship.
  • You definitely won't find a hill station  on the Lakshadweep Islands. Hill stations are located at a high altitudes 1,000 - 2500 metres above sea level.These islands are renowned for their beautiful beaches and greenery,
  • the Lakshadweep Islands off the easten malabar coast of Kerala, are spectacular tropical Islands with sparking
    beaches, blue lagoons,
    gorgeous coconut and palm trees and striking waves. The islands
    comprise of 4200 sq km of lagoon rich in marine wealth whose waters
    range from palest aquamarine and turquoise to deepest sapphire and lapis
    lazuli. There are 36 small islands out of which 10 are inhabited. Some
    beautiful spots with stunning lagoons ideal for sunbathing and water
    sports are - Kavaratti, Minicoy, Kalpeni, Agatti , Kadmat and Bangaram.
