Best To-Do's in Hong Kong

edited November 2013 in - Hong Kong
Hi,  Am traveling to Hong Kong late December and new to HK.
Anyone heard of Royal Plaza Hotel, Mongkok, Kowloon?
Is it a good area to stay - easy to commute, good food, shopping?

  • The room I stayed in Royal Plaza Hotel have just renovated. Modern and spacious room. Hotel
is just few min walking distance to MTR. Other than renovation at some
of the hotel area, I have no other complain. Will visit the hotel again
    when all renovation is over.

Yes Royal Plaza Hotel is good place to stay. last year I visited Hong kong with my friends and enjoyed a lot really. Best of luck !
  • 1) Climb over 200 steps to view tian tain big Buddha .
    2) Have tea on lobby of the Peninsula Hotel.
    3) See dragon boat race.
  • Hong Kong is an incredible destination that could take months to fully explore and experience. I would highly recommend taking in the night lights from one of the many swanky roof top bars that teeter over the city, as well as sampling the fine fare at the city's many amazing restaurants. My favourite was definitely Din Tai Fung! Take a ride on the Star Ferry, visit Stanely and the Big Buddha. Go up the Peak (the hike is worth it, although the tram is fun, too!), and lastly just make time to stroll the humming streets with their myriads of wet markets, street vendors and glamourous shops. Enjoy!
