Wishing you a belated happy new year , full of health and happiness. My internet connection not so good as I am in north Cyprus. Did you read the latest Tunisia posts. Apparently there are NO flights toTunisia especially from the UK so our loved up couples are now marrying in Istanbul ! LOL !! My best wishes for a wonderful 2016
Wishing for you also a year of joy and happiness. Good luck with the internet - this is my struggle every day of the year lol!! Of course there are flights to Tunisia but methinks he wishes to marry in Turkey for a more sinister reason. British Airways stopped flying here a couple of years ago but there are lots of other airlines including Tunisair who have many regular flights from UK to Tunis. Pffft......good luck ladies is all I can say.
Hi Lesley, hope your having a good day. I have been answering questions from a person called noura on this thread http://forum.wordtravels.com/discussion/14294/married-to-tunisian-man-need-help#latest you also commented re blood tests. Even though I told her that her Tunisian husband should apply for his Croatian marriage visa at the Croatian Embassy in Morocco, ( I gave her links to the Croatian ministry ) she has it in her head she needs to go though the Tunisian Embassy in Austria. I have told her this is incorrect. You will see for your self when you read the thread. I am asking for your support in advising her that the Tunisian Embassy Austria is not part of the process for her husband to obtain a Croatian visa. Many thanks Alethia.
Hi Lesley, if you remember we had a little chat a couple of months ago about my experience with the Tunisian embassy in india.
Well, the thing is my fiancé finally came to India & we plan to get married here. My question to you is I do not wish to deal with the embassy here again. My fiancé, she spoke to them regarding a visa by marriage & to our surprise they have no information related to the process, so please if you can guide us, can we get married here & is there a possibility that she can get my visa issued from Tunisia once she goes back? If yes then please let me know the procedure.
Your information has always been very helpful.
Aslemma Mohammed - Yes, you can be married in India but Senda must register the marriage with the Tunisian embassy. If the document is in English then she must have it translated and certified before she can register. She can also register the marriage with the Embassy there but I am guessing you don't want to deal with them? I am quite sure that Senda can support your spouse visa from here but give me a day or two and I will make sure. I am happy to help!! Inchallah mabrouk
Mohammed - I am still waiting for someone at the embassy here to give me correct answers! Frustrating to say the least. I may ask a lawyer who is a friend of a friend and see if she knows exactly what to do. Hang in there I haven't forgotten!!
Hi Lesley, I have a question.. is it possible that me a holder of Philippine passport and a fiancée whom holding a Tunisia passport can migrate to New Zealand or Australia? I know Philippines passport can migrate to other country but im not sure for Tunisia. Can you help me with this? Appreciate to hear from you.
Mystique - where are you living at the moment? I think you will find it very difficult to migrate to either of these countries at the moment unless you have someone to sponsor you. Philippine citizens can have great difficulty and Tunisians next to none.
