  • Re: Is Nigeria somewhere to visit as a tourist?

@mattheweric, that's all fine, but don't try to pretend for one second that Nigeria can be compared to most other popular to destinations. That's just plain silly.

  • Re: Russian girlfriend - travel scam

With all due respect Johnny I'm flabbergasted that anyone falls for this stuff, let alone wastes one second of their life dealing with scams like this.

Honestly, shut the computer off and go for a walk.

  • Re: Tunisian Marriage and US Residency

I'm glad you're not a love struck idiot and that you're open to other people's opinions. Good for you.

Consider using this situation as an excuse to get a Passport and take your first trip. Fly to Tunisia and meet him and his family. Make hotel reservations that are near his home so it's easy to meet, but you're still completely independent and safe.

Chances are this is nothing more than a sweet talking guy looking for a way to score a Visa out of Tunisia, but who knows.... maybe the trip will be a lot of fun and at the very least you will have taken your first trip out of the US and learned something about the world.

Use common sense and keep your wits about you though and don't do something dumb like start sending him money.

    All the best to you.

    Cheers,
    Terry
  • Re: Scams in Lagos Africa

    100% scammer.

    Stop sending money to strangers.

Honestly, do you really need to be told this?...
